Dear Member of the Media,
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me on my website for the new book Taming the Email Beast: 45 Key Strategies For Better Managing Your Email Overload (and Regaining Your Email Sanity!) After spending the first fifteen years of my career working in industries related to marketing, advertising, and media placement, I have a great appreciation for what all of you do. And I want to help make your work easier by giving you some solid ideas on story lines that take advantage of the material I share in my Taming the Email Beast program and in my book.
With so many people struggling every day with the insanity of their email accounts, I believe there are a lot of potential stories for your audiences. And I want to present to you some of the story ideas that may be covered, as well as give you the other information you will need to allow you to assemble a solid story or media event quickly and painlessly. On this page I will share with you four compelling storylines related to email. I will also share with you photo imagery from my new book, Taming the Email Beast, as well as personal photography that you can utilize as part of your story.
Four possible storylines :
- Yes, you can get your email inbox all the way down to ZERO. This expert not only says that you can, but you should.(Click here to see a current press release on this storyline.)
- You’ve got to avoid the “bling.” Smart reasons why you should absolutely not be checking your email constantly throughout the day.
- Get those e-mail CC’s under control. Smart strategies for forwarded messages and carbon copies that help to reduce e-mail insanity.
- When email doesn’t make sense: times when the old standby – a live person-to-person conversation – is the smartest way to communicate professionally.
